A new, 288-unit, luxury apartment complex, retail shops, dining spots and more are coming to a waterfront property in the City of Suffolk.
The 70,000-square-foot, mixed-use community will be called “Bridgeport” and a spokesperson says it will located in North Suffolk off of Bridge Road.
BECO, the company developing the new community, made the announcement Tuesday.
Phase One of the development will include the apartment complex, 3800 Acqua. The company plans to open the complex in the Spring of 2019.
There will also be 10,000 square feet of Class A office space, 60,000 square feet of retail space and 40,000 square feet of space available to lease after Phase One is complete.
BECO says the construction of this new property will start later this summer and the additional phases of the project are still in the planning stages.
