Make your way to the peninsula to kick start October with a grand celebration at the 45th annual Newport News Fall Festival.
150 exhibitors will be out there showcasing art, crafts, heritage trade demonstrations, and children’s activities. Head over to the Folk Foodway where vendors will be selling seafood, barbeque, funnel cakes and other festival food favorites. New for 2018 are performances by favorite local bands Slapnation and Good Shot Judy. Free new activities include an archery area, scarecrow making, a rock climbing tower, and Virginia-grown fruit fishing.
The Newport News Fall Festival is going down on Saturday, October 6 & Sunday, October 7, 2018 each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Newport News Park. Admission is free but there is a $5 parking fee per vehicle on-site and at satellite areas.
