What changes do you want to take place in 2016? How will you make it happen?
Let’s all take some advice handed out by Olivia Newton-John back in 1981, “Let’s get physical, physical!” Please take the advice but do not Google the song. You will not be pleased with the thumbnail picture of Newton-John grabbed from the video.
Back to the physical part. You can take that advice as far as you feel comfortable. You can go to the extreme and run your first marathon or you can just make it as simple as taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
Many of you may have a regular workout routine. You may be a runner, biker or go to the gym on a regular basis. You may enjoy playing golf, tennis, racquetball or skiing. Maybe you prefer to take classes like Yoga, Aerobics, Pilates, Zumba or Kickboxing. Go for walks around your neighborhood. Join a gym. Go for a swim. STRETCH!
Make a change in your daily routine that will pay off in the long run. No excuses!
Start smart! Don’t try to make big changes all at once. Work your way up and avoid injury. Get a personal trainer if you’re serious about making big changes. Change your eating habits to get further results.
The mental and physical benefits of staying healthy will reduce sickness and disease and will lead to a longer life. A healthy body is one of the most important investments you can make in your life.
The point of this post is to encourage you to change your physical health for the better. You’re not getting any younger and your body will thank you in the long run. The most important thing in life is your health. You don’t realize this until your health turns bad. So in the words of Olivia Newton-John, “let me hear your body talk!”
