To kick off February, McDonald’s announced in its Super Bowl commercial a new campaign called Pay With Lovin’: Through Valentine’s Day, in-store customers can get a free meal if they are randomly chosen to do an “act of love.” This can be calling a loved one to high-fiving an employee or even just blowing a kiss to your fellow McChicken-eating stranger.
Now, we can’t guarantee a free meal at Mickey D’s, but no one wants to turn down a free meal or drink (or even fish) from a restaurant or retailer. This month there are a few food and beverage deals out there for you to sink your teeth into. Some of them do require registering online while others you just have to show up.
Free coffee. Every day through February, you can get a free caffeine boost at Chic-Fil-A. The business is handing out a courtesy cup of its new specialty-grade THRIVE Farmers coffee nationwide. You can either get a 12-ounce hot or 16-ounce iced coffee at any time its open.
Free vitamin supplement drink mix. Getting sick isn’t great. So to help boost your immune system, you can get a free sample of Emergen-C vitamin supplement drink mix. You have to fill out this online form to receive a sample via physical mail.
Free fish. Walmart is handing out free flavored salmon throughout February. You can download a coupon here once you give your name and an email address to get your pouch of Chicken of the Sea flavored salmon.
Free burritos and free kisses. A little more out of the box – Qdoba will give you a free burrito with the new cheesy sauce if you buy a burrito and kiss someone on demand. It’s only for Valentine’s Day, but if you can bring in a loved one or a stranger who is willing, you can get a free burrito… or a slap in the face. It’s a wild card.
