Students See Science at Work at Langley-Eustis

High school students will learn first-hand the roles science, technology, engineering, and mathematics play in supporting the Air Force and Army missions May 29 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis’ Mission Orientation Day.

Teenagers will witness static displays, robot and bomb suit demonstrations, and a look at SAUL, the Germ-Zapping Robot.

More than 400 students with an interest in science and technology are planning to attend. They’re coming from area schools including Poquoson, Hampton, Newport News, York County, and Williamsburg.
