There’s nothing like enjoying the beauty of nature on calm waters. If you’re looking to become one with nature, make your way out to York River State Park for a day of canoeing.
Along the river or wetlands you may see a variety of wild creatures. The Taskinas Creek and the York River are so rich in their resources and the park staff will teach you ways to protect them.
All you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The park provides you with a paddle of your choice (canoe or kayak).
Make your way out to York River State Park this Saturday at 10 a.m. The prices start at $6 and pre-registration is required.
